Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026 · Applies to BONK LAB v0.6.0 (Build 4) and this official website.

At a glance: The current BONK LAB app plays offline, requires no account, and does not collect personal data through the game. Your progress is stored locally on your device. Live third-party advertisements are not included in Build 4.

1. Who we are

BONK LAB is a family-friendly arcade game developed as an independent project under Project ROWE. This policy explains the current app's and website's privacy practices. For questions, contact support@bonklabs.app.

2. Information collected by the game

In the current Build 4 version, BONK LAB does not require registration or ask for your name, email address, birth date, contact information, precise location or other personal details. The app does not transmit gameplay information to our servers and does not include live third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. Information kept on your device

To make the game work, BONK LAB may store the following data locally on your device:

We do not operate a server-side player account database for this information. Device and system backup services, if used, are operated under your device provider's policies.

4. Optional notifications

BONK LAB can offer an optional local notification when Energy Sparks recharge. The reminder is off by default, requires operating-system permission, and is scheduled on your device. You can turn it off in the game or in your device's settings. The current app does not use remote push notifications for advertising.

5. Advertising

Build 4 does not serve paid third-party advertisements. Any rewarded-ad countdown or simulation in this version is a gameplay demonstration rather than a request to an advertising network.

We are evaluating optional rewarded advertising for a future Build 5. Before releasing any version that includes live ads, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure to reflect the selected provider's data practices and applicable age-appropriate advertising and consent requirements.

6. Children's privacy

BONK LAB is intended to be suitable for a broad audience, including families and children. The current app does not offer public chat, social feeds or account creation, and does not knowingly collect children's personal information through gameplay. Parents or guardians with privacy questions can contact us using the support address below.

7. Sharing or selling information

We do not sell personal information collected through BONK LAB. The current app does not share locally stored game progress with advertising networks or analytics providers. Apple may process data separately in connection with iOS, the App Store or TestFlight under Apple's own privacy terms.

8. Website visitors

This website is hosted using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and request details, and security-related logs as necessary to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently install advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or optional marketing cookies on this website. Cloudflare may use essential security technologies as part of hosting.

9. Retention and deletion

Game progress and preferences remain locally on your device until removed or altered by the app, operating system, storage controls or app removal. Uninstalling BONK LAB may erase local progress. Because we do not maintain a central player account database for the current app, we cannot remotely recover deleted game saves or perform account deletion.

10. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as BONK LAB evolves. Material changes to data collection or third-party advertising will be documented here and reflected in the relevant app-store disclosures before the affected functionality is released. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
